A higher quality of life!
Having worked in the NHS for over 10 years as a CBT therapist, I understand how difficult it can be for a person to engage in therapy. However, I have learnt how giving time, knowledge, openness to explore what you are going through and where it has come from, in a non-judgmental environment can really help you overcome your fears, worries, loneliness, despair or of feeling like your stuck in a rut of anxiety and or depression.
I offer Cognitive Behavioural therapy for anxiety and/or depression in my private practice for adults with the following:
· Depression & low self esteem
· Anxiety for below
· Generalised anxiety
· Health anxiety
· Body Dysmorphic disorder
· Long term health conditions
I can offer therapy in the following languages:
Additionally, I can work with culturally specific issues which have triggered mental health issues in the black minority and ethnic communities (BME).
I’m excited to work with you as I know how positive it feels once you have overcome these horrible feelings and worries, and this is why I love what I do.
I will work with you in my relaxed, and calming therapy room in Quinton.
I work in the early evening on weekdays and early mornings on weekends as I understand how if therapy is done after work or early weekends it means it does not have to disrupt your evenings or weekend as much. So you can do therapy and get on with your day.
You can get better and be back to your original self, it just takes that first step, which I can help you take and walk into your healthier, new self which is happier, more content and able to not be so affected by issues, as now you know it is in your control.
I am more than happy to chat for a free 20 mins consultation to discuss what you would like and how I can help you. Just call me, your new life is only a phone call or email away.
I’m here to help you to navigate through your feelings and help you gain back control of your life to meet your goals via the therapy of Cognitive Behavioural therapy (CBT) with a holistic approach.
Having been through mental health issues myself at various stages of my life, I have first hand experience of the difficulties a person can face in overcoming these which I now have worked through (with the help of mental health therapy). These being witnessing domestic abuse as a child, childhood bullying, self esteem, health anxiety, post natal depression, general anxiety and depression.
Having worked in the NHS since 2007 as a primary care wellbeing practitioner moving onto an accredited cognitive behavioural therapist in mental health therapy. I help people who suffer with depression, OCD, phobias, PTSD, generalised anxiety disorder, panic, health anxiety and body dysmorphic disorder. I also work with clients with long term health conditions which effect their mental health.
Having been through mental health issues myself, my aim for my clients is to provide a holistic mental health therapy approach which will not only be using a trained method of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, but I will also include looking into the past to draw on behaviours brought forward alongside physical health, Socialisation, employment issues, relationships and financial issues to help mental wellbeing in relation to depression and anxiety.
This is me Rajnish Virk. I'm looking forward to meeting and helping you.
