I offer CBT otherwise called Cognitive Behavioural therapy coupled with a holistic approach for anxiety and depression as discussed in "About Me" page/tab.
CBT can help you to change how you think ('Cognitive') and what you do ('Behaviour'). These changes can help you to feel better. It focuses on the 'here and now' in anxiety and depression problems and difficulties. However I additionally look into the past history of a client as it may play a part in triggering their mental health issues in the here and now. This in turn will help to improve your state of mind now in therapy.

CBT is based on how these 5 areas interconnect to affecting a persons mental wellbeing. For example, your thoughts about a certain situation can often affect how you feel both physically and emotionally, as well as how you act in response.

I additionally work with clients who have a long term physical health issue which is impacting their mental health. In situations like these I help clients to better understand how they view their physical health condition and work with them to challenge those beliefs and behaviours with the aim to ultimately improve their management of their physical health condition.
This therapy is very practical, structured and collabortive approach. It requires learning skills techniques to manage anxiety and depression which involves taking on board and applying the techniques in the period between therapy sessions.
Therapy is generally face to face however I can offer video calling (e.g. skype) or telephone therapy.
Therapy sessions can last upto 20 sessions. It is recommended to have a weekly session of 60 minutes. Although open to discussion if exceptions are required.
The cost of each 60 minute therapy session is £55.
